laravel-elixir-bless

As one of the web developers who still has to deal with IE 8 <> 11, I'm aware of the issues that IE has with CSS files, namely that it can only handle a limited amount of selectors. We've had Bless for a while and we've also had gulp-bless which is great.

However, as a Laravel developer I use laravel-elixir to compile my assets, check my JavaScript and notify me of some things. Today I needed to add Bless to my CSS files too and it turned out that there wasn't a laravel-elixir-bless package available.

There wasn't, but there is now: https://www.npmjs.com/package/laravel-elixir-bless - the source code is available at https://github.com/BlueBayTravel/laravel-elixir-bless

It's very simple to use:

Example gulpfile.js

var elixir = require('laravel-elixir');
require('laravel-elixir-bless');

elixir(function(mix) {
    mix.bless();
});

Advanced Example

var elixir = require('laravel-elixir');
require('laravel-elixir-bless');

elixir(function(mix) {
    mix.bless('app.css', './public/css/blessed', {
        imports: false
    });
});

And we're still able to use the elixir helper to include the CSS files.
