I write iOS applications on my 13" MacBook Pro. The screen resolution isn't the biggest and iPhones tend to have a big resolution, so naturally 100% is just way too big and I end up scrolling up and down to navigate my applications. Really annoying.
Anyway, I was just testing some new code and accidentally hit CMD+3 which resized the simulator!
It turns out that you can use:
- CMD+1 for 100%
- CMD+2 for 75%
- CMD+3 for 50%
I'm so glad that I accidentally stumbled on to this. I also wonder how many other peope have had this issue.
As it turns out, you can use Window -> Scale to change the simulator size too. I'm not sure how I missed this before…
